Penguin Random House acquires Hay House

The biggest publisher in the US continues to add to its operations, now with midsize publisher Hay House, best known for its self-help and health and wellness titles. The publisher was founded by Louise Hay in 1984 and has a backlist of 1,500 titles. A statement says no changes are planned for Hay House’s three offices (California, New York, London) or its management. Hay House has been distributed by PRH since 2018. Learn more.

Earlier this year, Penguin Random House bought Callisto Media; it also has a majority 53 percent stake in Sourcebooks.
