James Irwin is a writer and media artist living in northern New Jersey. Publications include Brevity, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Bay to Ocean Journal, San Francisco Bay Guardian, Smoky Blue Literary & Arts Magazine, and Big Windows Review. He has received awards from the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, National Endowment for the Humanities, Gotham Writers Workshop, Rockefeller Foundation, and others.
