The Community of Literary Magazines and Presses, the Academy of American Poets, and the National Book Foundation have established the Literary Arts Emergency Fund, made possible by a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The fund will provide $3.5 million to nonprofit literary publishers and organizations impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Nonprofit literary magazines and presses may apply for one-time emergency grants of $5,000 to $50,000 until August 7.
