Small UK publishers consider what a no-deal Brexit will mean for them

With Boris Johnson and the Conservative party winning big in the most recent UK election, the reality of a no-deal Brexit looms large. Smaller, independent publishers that already operate on a shoestring worry they won’t be able to manage the increased bureaucracy and burden of a no-deal Brexit. And, more than that, with the UK no longer part of the EU, some authors and agents may strike deals that put UK publishers at a disadvantage.
