The US Book Show, a one-day publishing industry event, takes place this year on May 22 at New York University’s Kimmel Center—in person only. The show was founded in 2021 by Publishers Weekly to help fill the void left by BookExpo and is being presented in cooperation with the Association of American Literary Agents.
The day’s events will open with a CEO roundtable with Jonathan Karp of Simon & Schuster, Aman Kochar of Baker & Taylor, Mary McAveney of Abrams, and Peter Warwick of Scholastic. Panels will cover topics such as auctions, artificial intelligence, book P&Ls, contracts and copyright, and sales. The day closes with a cocktail party sponsored by Spotify. Jane will attend and feature coverage of the event in the June 5 issue. Learn more and register.
