Patterson is already well known for giving money to bookstores, librarians, and other literacy programs. Now he’s turning his attention to fellow authors with his “Go Finish Your Book” grant. Several organizations, including PEN America, the Authors Guild, and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, helped facilitate the application and selection process.
