The Equity Directory is a new database of BIPOC literary agents to help BIPOC authors and illustrators more easily find BIPOC representation. The effort has been launched by the Literary Agents of Change, a nonprofit born out of the American Association of Literary Agents’ DEI committee. Note that agents included in the directory do not necessarily have an endorsement or accreditation of any kind. The same “writer beware” rules apply to agents in this directory as those in any other.
