Pew Research Center graph titled: More Americans' are reading books on tablets and cellphones, even as dedicated e-reader use has remained stable. Between 2011 and 2016, the percentage of U.S. adults who have read an e-book in the last year on a dedicated reader has increased only from 7 to 8. In comparison, reading on a desktop or laptop computer increased from 7 to 11%, on a cellphone from 5 to 13%, and on a tablet computer from 4 to 15%.

The new Pew Research report on book reading shows that tablets and mobile phones—even desktop and laptop computers—are now more popular for ebook reading than dedicated e-readers.
