Mary Trump’s Too Much and Never Enough hit 1 million print unit sales last month; the only other book to sell 1 million copies this year is A Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, according to NPD BookScan. For the week ending Aug. 15, year-to-date sales for print books were up by 5.5 percent versus 2019. The book-publishing industry hasn’t seen such strong print sales performance since 2008.
