Reagan Arthur named head of Knopf

Following the death of Sonny Mehta, Penguin Random House has selected a successor: Reagan Arthur. She has been publisher at Little, Brown since 2013 and was handpicked by Mehta himself before he died. PRH CEO Madeline McIntosh said of the appointment, “Her writers think the world of her, as do her colleagues. She has a proven track record and a reputation that means her recommendations are trusted by sales reps and booksellers alike.”
