Anna Sproul-Latimer and Kent Wolf have joined to launch Neon Literary. Sproul-Latimer was with the Yoon Ross Agency and is best known for her nonfiction deals with female authors, often for titles on current affairs, politics, and history, as well as illustrated nonfiction. Wolf was at the Friedrich Agency; he represents fiction, with his last three announced deals for debut literary novelists. The announcement reads: “Neon Literary is on a mission to dismantle the Big Ideas Industry, smuggling money, power, and frontlist glory out to authors who might not have been born realizing they deserved those things.”
