Zena Ryder is a freelance writer, historical fiction writer, and founder of the First Novel Fellowship, an online community for writers working on the first draft of their first novel. She’s currently querying agents with her novel, Committed, which is about a young woman who’s committed to an insane asylum during the American Civil War.
