It’s official: Spare by Prince Harry is the fastest-selling nonfiction book of all time in the UK, where Nielsen reported opening-week sales of 467,000 copies. In the US, NPD BookScan says the first week of US hardcover sales was 630,000 copies. So far, the book has sold more than 3.2 million units globally across all formats, according to Penguin Random House, with 1.6 million of those in the US.
