The New Chapter award is for unpublished and unagented fiction by authors of color; self-published authors are eligible. Entrants must be a resident of Great Britain and be able to qualify themselves as coming from a minority ethnic background. The prize includes a two-book publishing contract with a £100,000 advance from Simon & Schuster UK.
