Across all American political persuasions, 71% oppose efforts to remove books that some find offensive or inappropriate from public libraries, while 29% support. Among Democrats, 75% oppose, 25% support. Among Republicans, 70% oppose, 30% support. Among Independents, 58% oppose, 42% support.
