The Hear Your Story journal series (e.g., Mom, I Want to Hear Your Story and Dad, I Want to Hear Your Story) has been appearing regularly on the Hidden Gems and self-published print bestseller list for months now. Sourcebooks just announced a partnership with author Jeffrey Mason for world rights and audio rights. According to BookScan, Mason’s books have sold more than 700,000 copies in the US alone. Sourcebooks has been a key player in partnering with self-published authors to sell and distribute their books into the traditional market and beyond; I spoke with the Sourcebooks team about these partnerships in February 2024.
