K. Woodman-Maynard is a graphic novelist and comics coach who helps artists overcome creative obstacles and navigate the path to publication. Her debut, The Great Gatsby: A Graphic Novel Adaptation (Candlewick Press), was called “hugely rewarding” by The Wall Street Journal. Her next book is a graphic novel adaptation of the beloved classic Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt (Farrar, Straus & Giroux) coming in 2025. She writes a weekly Substack encouraging artists to create more and feel less bad about themselves in the process.
