Earlier this month, the Authors Guild announced a partnership with AI licensing agency Created by Humans. Their full FAQ on AI licensing is helpful for all authors, regardless of whether you plan to take advantage of the partnership. This evening, Authors Guild hosts a members-only event if you’d like to ask questions and learn more about their partnership with Created by Humans.
At Frankfurt Book Fair, the CEO of Created by Humans demonstrated the new platform and disclosed that the company will take 20 percent of licensing fees generated. Even if you don’t want your books licensed for AI at all, you can still join Created by Humans and opt out of all uses; the company will do their best to monitor AI systems and keep your books out of them. There is currently a waitlist to join.
